Winter University 2019:

The student apartments for the Winter Session are fully booked.

Equipment of the Apartments

The apartments in Adalbertstraße are completely furnished with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Depending on the accommodation option chosen two to three participants share an apartment. Kitchen, bathroom and living area will be shared with the other housemates. As a rule people of the same sex share an apartment.

Here you'll find pictures and further information about our accommodation at Adalbertstrasse/ Melchiorstrasse.

You can find the following items in the apartment:

  • Bed linen
  • Refrigerator
  • Dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils
  • Coffee machine
  • Vacuum cleaner (in some apartments)
  • Coin-operated washing machines and dryers in a separate laundry room in the building
  • WiFi
  • Towels
  • TV

Shopping Facilities

Close to the apartment buildings you can find supermarkets, a shopping mall with grocery stores, small restaurants, banks and a pharmacy. Just a few minutes walk from the apartment block there are several doctors, dentists and internet cafés.

The university’s dining hall offers reasonably-priced lunch (approximately 3-5 Euros per meal).

How to get to Humboldt-Universität

The apartments at the corner of Adalbertstrasse and Melchiorstrasse are not far from Berlin's city centre. The Heinrich-Heine-St. underground station (U8) and the Jannowitzbrücke underground and suburban rail stations (several lines going in various directions) put you within minutes of Alexanderplatz, Humboldt-Universität, and of a variety of restaurants and cultural institutions.
